Look what my mail lady brought me this morning! This wonderful box full of yummy fabrics! Makes me want to create new things. I got the fabric from http://www.colonialcrafts.com/ I belong to their birthday club and the whole month of your birthday you get 20 percent of each items. So I just had to order more fabric. Lol, like I need it. I also baked this yummy apple pie for our family dinner the other night. Every one commented on how yummy it was. The crust was the best I had ever had. I got the recipe here http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2007/12/p-p-p-pie_crust_and_its_p-p-p-perfect/
Greetings Everyone! Welcome to my Blog! First of all I'm 26 years old and reside with my hubby in the hills of eastern Kentucky. We have 2 furry kids! I am a self taught doll maker. I made my first doll when I was in high school. It was a pitiful little raggedy ann with a floppy neck. This struck something in me and I realized I had found my niche, my true passion. By the time I was a senior in high school I was doing shows and was selling on Ebay. In 2000 I got married and shortly after that I started my website The Fruit of her Hands. I stepped out on faith that my website would make it, that just maybe just maybe people would buy pieces of me to display in their homes. Seven years later I am still in the biz. Thanks to all my wondeful customers and Thanks to God for helping me. Actually for helping, directing and guiding me. I am by no means a professional, lol my dolls are very humble and simple. I am in awe of these wonderful gusset head dolls and the Izannah Walker styles. But I am learning everyday, I just recently conquered my fear of sewing darts! I hope you enjoy my blog and getting to know me and what I am working on. God Bless
