For Today

Saturday July 26, 2008

Outside my Window.... The dogs are lying lazily in the shade

I am thinking....I need to get my orders completed before I leave for Lexington

I am thankful for......My aunt coming through a major surgery well

I am creating......Fall pumpkins for a wholesale order

From the kitchen.......Fried pork chops, fried taters, corn on the cob and brownies

I am going.... to Walmart to get supplies tonight

I am reading.....The new Taste of Home magazine and The Preacher's Daughter

I am hearing......Daisy snoring under the covers

Around the house.....just finished the dishes and clean laundry is ready to be hung....the kitchen table is scattered with projects I am working on today

One of my favorite things......a cherished family quilt handed down from generations

A few plans for the rest of the week........tomorrow is Sunday Service and a much needed day of rest before a hectic coming week.

A picture thought of the day..........

Oh Jill...that's the sweetest little doggie picture of your little Boston. Aren't they just the sweetest little dogs in the world!

What a wonderful post. We all have so many blessings and it's nice to see you counting yours in your blog.

Hello there, I just stumbled upon your blog and just had to say hello. We seem to love a lot of the same things. I also love dolls and primitive things. I don't have any prim dolls yet but I just love them and I am starting to learn about them. I have the supplies bought for a Raggedy Nnn. I have supplies bought for at least 10 other projects too. I also have a sweet Boston. My girl is named Abby. I wouldn't take 10 million dollars for her, seriously!!. Our children are grown, although I'm only 41, and she is the light of our life. WE treat her like a little girl. She is the funniest dog ever. Aten't boston's just the best little frieds? I have enjoyed my visit and I will link to ya so i can visit often if that is Ok. Nicew to meet you,
Shanda
